Who is Gori Sensei?
ゴリ先生せんせいって？
Gori Sensei is a Japanese teacher. He is starting online lessons for Japanese learners in Japan and around the world. He believes learning a language is like training at the gym: small reps every day make you strong.
ゴリ先生せんせいは日本語にほんご教師きょうしです。これから、オンラインを中心ちゅうしんに、日本にほん国内こくないと世界中せかいじゅうの日本語にほんご学習者がくしゅうしゃに教おしえていきます。言葉ことばの勉強べんきょうはジムのトレーニングと同おなじ。毎日まいにちの小ちいさな1回かいが、力ちからになります。

Hi, I'm Gori Sensei!
こんにちは、ゴリ先生せんせいです！
I'm a Japanese teacher, and everyone calls me "Gori." Before becoming "Gori Sensei," I was a board director at a listed trading company, leading sales teams for many years. That experience lets me teach what textbooks can't: how to talk with a client you're meeting for the first time, and how to build good relationships with your coworkers. If you want to work in Japan, I'll share the small tips that make work so much easier. I'm starting online lessons for Japanese learners in Japan and around the world.
日本語にほんご教師きょうしです。みんなからは「ゴリ」と呼よばれています。ゴリ先生せんせいになる前まえは、上場じょうじょう商社しょうしゃの取締役とりしまりやくとして長ながく営業えいぎょうの最前線さいぜんせんを率ひきいてきました。だからこそ伝つたえられることがあります。はじめての取引先とりひきさきとどう話はなすか。社内しゃないの仲間なかまとどう信頼しんらい関係かんけいを築きずくか。日本にほんで働はたらきたい人ひとに、仕事しごとがぐっとしやすくなるコツもお伝つたえします。これから、オンラインを中心ちゅうしんに、国内外こくないがいの日本語にほんご学習者がくしゅうしゃに教おしえていきます。
### How I teach 教おしえ方かた
I don't start with grammar tables. I start with a scene — ordering food, greeting a neighbor, talking with your boss or coworkers. First you notice how Japanese people really speak, and what wins them over. Then we practice until you can say it in your own words.
文法ぶんぽうの表ひょうからは始はじめません。まずは場面ばめんから。食事しょくじの注文ちゅうもん、近所きんじょの人ひととのあいさつ、上司じょうしや同僚どうりょうとの会話かいわ。日本人にほんじんが実際じっさいにどう話はなすのか、どうすれば相手あいての心こころをつかめるのかに気きづいてから、自分じぶんの言葉ことばで言いえるまで練習れんしゅうします。
